Folks, this has been a long time coming. Alex and Monica have served as program managers for the SRO Health Collaborative for over a year and a half. Their hard work and collaboration is paying off! Last week, we launched several new programs at two SRO hotels in the Tenderloin. At the first launch event, residents expressed appreciation for the new services and programs that will give them more flexibility and choice with their food. As participants of the pilot, SRO residents will receive fruit and vegetable vouchers, transportation to the grocery store, sit-down community meals, and more food choices at their weekly food pantries! This pilot program will run through the end of the summer so expect more updates.
