In 2020, we saw the national adoption of our programs into the evidence-based SNAP-Ed toolkit, the USDA’s clearinghouse for recommended curricula.  This adoption is one factor in fueling our national growth, especially among our innovative trauma-informed programs! Giving Tuesday – 2020 Accomplishments Part 2

Despite covid-19 challenges, we engaged 2,300 Californians through our virtual programming – including live Zoom cook-alongs, YouTube video series, and self-paced nutrition courses.  We also became national leaders in capacity-building for virtual delivery – creating a webinar series that saw coast-to-coast participation. A Cozy Meal for A Cold Day

The weather is turning cool here in Southern California, and with it, the Leah’s Pantry SoCal team is happy to finally pull out our coziest warm sweaters and put on our thickest socks. While we’re at it, we might make this filling fall recipe from Eatfresh.org for Beef and Potato Stew. Yum!
