In 2020, we saw the national adoption of our programs into the evidence-based SNAP-Ed toolkit, the USDA’s clearinghouse for recommended curricula. Despite covid-19 challenges, we engaged 2,300 Californians through our virtual programming – including live Zoom cook-alongs, YouTube video series, and self-paced nutrition courses. We also became national leaders in capacity-building for virtual delivery – creating a webinar series that saw coast-to-coast participation. Don’t forget to give on #givingtuesday
We are proud to report that this year we’ve trained nearly 1,200 professionals in eight states! Help us support this important work by giving on Giving Tuesday. #givingtuesday #leahspantry
