    Around the Table is a curriculum that upholds principles of trauma-informed engagement and nourishment. Activities in this curriculum do not include calculating or sharing ACEs scores. Participants enjoy hands-on cooking, facilitated conversations, and interactive activities that build healthy connection to food, self, and community. This is a six-week curriculum designed for groups of 7-15 youth, aged 14-21, conducted in community spaces with or without a kitchen. Facilitators should use the corresponding Instructor Guide.

    Description

    The youth workbook is part of the Around the Table curriculum. Each participant in an Around the Table workshop should have his or her own workbook.

    Around the Table curriculum is designed primarily for youth, aged 14-21. Approved for use by California’s CalFresh Healthy Living (SNAP-Ed) program. Tested with high school students.
