The online course includes approximately five (5) hours of self-paced content (videos, reflection activities, and readings) and two 2-hour instructor-led Zoom sessions (June 17 and July 1 from 10am-12pm PST). Registered partner participants will gain access to our online learning management system (Talent LMS) in mid-May.
After completion of the course, implementers receive access to additional resources, webinars, ongoing support, and our network of pantry partners.
Purpose: Learn to implement the Nutrition Pantry Program with food distributions in your community.
Audience: SNAP-Ed implementers, food bank and pantry staff, University Extension professionals, and other individuals and organizations looking for an organized policy, systems and environment (PSE) intervention to adapt to their sites. [If an agency has multiple participants, each participant must register separately so their registration email address can then be added to our online training system.]
Total Training Time: Self-paced work will take approximately eight hours. Virtual Zoom sessions are two hours each (total of four hours).
Next Steps: Upon completion of this course, participants are prepared to implement the Nutrition Pantry Program at their site(s).
